BOX - Optimized Container for SPOT and BOSS
Alencon’s BOX form factor is a unique, cost effective option for deploying Alencon’s galvanically isolated, DC:DC converters, the SPOT and the BOSS. The BOX allows numerous SPOT or BOSS units to be deployed in a single location. Each BOX contains up to four BOSS or SPOT units, all of which can be combined into an Alencon provided junction box (JBOX).
The BOX offers the ability to map highly different DC voltages on the input or output while isolating the grounding on either side of the device. The BOX can be the ideal tool for a variety of applications, including DC coupling Solar + Storage, repowering older PV systems with failed 600-volt inverters, EV charging, battery bank charging and augmentation and much, much more...
