Engineering Summer Internship Opporunity

Here at Alencon we design and build some very unique power electronics for alternative energy applications.

Specifically, our SPOT is setting a new standard in the alternative energy applications for the coupling of Solar + Storage and retrofitting of aged PV plants. This summer, we have unique, paid internship position for an aspiring engineering student. In this role, you will work with our engineering team in the hands on testing and prove out of our cutting edge devices. This will give you very practical work experience in seeing what really goes on in building power electronics for today’s PV applications.

In this role, the candidate will be focused on the accurate, electro-mechanical testing of Alencon’s DC-DC optimizer. This will include assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components such as printed circuit boards and preparing items for shipment.

This position represents a unique opportunity to work in the rapidly growing solar industry. This can be great opportunity for either a recent college grad with hands-on experience or more experienced technician to get into a position where they can advance into engineering of a rapidly growing, high-tech company in the exciting solar arena.
