Electro-Mechanical Assembler

In this role, the candidate will be focused on the accurate, electro-mechanical assembly of Alencon’s DC-DC optimizers

In this role, the candidate will be focused on the accurate, electro-mechanical assembly of Alencon’s DC-DC optimizer. This will include assembling mechanical components, mounting printed circuit boards and preparing items for shipment.

This position represents a unique opportunity to work in the rapidly growing solar industry for a young, dynamic organization with a cutting-edge product. This can be great opportunity for either a recent college grad with hands-on experience or more experienced technician to get into a position where they can advance into a more senior engineering role of a rapidly growing, high-tech company in the exciting solar arena.

Requirements

· High degree of attention to detail and ability to follow detailed manufacturing process
· Strong mechanical assembly skills including precision use of screw drivers and ratchets
· Able to lift heavy objects
· Strong commitment to quality
· High sense of urgency
· Experience in a fast paced, production environment
· U.S. work authorization

Bonus Qualifications

· Soldering Skills
· Ability to use electrical testing equipment including hi-pot tester, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies and other electronic lab equipment
· Familiarity with electrical circuits

Educational Requirements

Associates or Technical Trade School Degree preferred, High School diploma required as a minimum
